Mid-Century 'Die Mappe' Magazine Covers

"Die Mappe (The Folder or The Portfolio) a German painter and sign painter magazine, published by Verlag George D.W. Callwey, Munich, was aimed at house and office painters, wallpaper hangers and sign designers. The covers, designed in a mid-century modern style (and mostly anonymous) are as contemporary looking today as they were in 1959-1960."

Graphical Cinema | 'Bullitt' 1968

This is the first in a series of cinema inspired collections focusing on the graphical elements of the film's promotion and it's credits. Bullitt is a great place to start, having an incredibly stylish soundtrack and visual presence still inspiring culture today.

Amazing pulsating cubes come to life in the Korean Hyper-Matrix

Wow!

"Created by media artist group Jonpasang for the Hyundai Motor Group Exhibition Pavilion at the 2012 Yeosu EXPO in Korea, the Hyper-Matrix is comprised of a steel scaffolding and thousands of lightweight, 300mm x 300mm cubes, each attached to its own stepper motor. A choreographed routine makes the pixels pump in and out, creating rippling arrows and pulsating grids" via http://www.fastcodesign.com/1670724/a-movie-theaters-walls-broken-into-thousa...
