The artier and sometimes darker side of Miss Hello Kitty has been imagined in this artwork from the (now over) 'Three Apples' Kitty 35th Anniversary Art Show in LA.
"Three Apples was a multi-dimensional exhibition and celebration of all things Hello Kitty which ran from October 23 to November 15 2009. The Three Apples art show, curated by Jamie Rivadeneira of JapanLA, featured original work by more than eighty artists including: Gary Baseman, Ron English, Buff Monster, Camilla d’Errico, Luke Chueh, Deph, Amanda Visell, Frank Kozik, Natalia Fabia, Huck Gee, Tara McPherson, Yosuke Ueno and Simone Legno."
