Beastie Boys - Fight For Your Right (Revisited) Full Length

Make Some Noise - uploaded by the Beastie Boys

"Good people, unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, the “clean” version of our new album, The Hot Sauce Committee pt 2 has leaked. So as a hostile and retaliatory measure with great hubris we are making the full explicit aka filthy dirty nasty version available for streaming on our site. We hope this brings much happiness, hugs, and harmony. Enjoy Kikoos for life!" http://blog.beastieboys.com/

2011 release, the long-awaited eighth album from the Hip Hop/Rock trio. Hot Sauce Committee Part Two was produced by Beastie Boys and mixed by Philippe Zdar. This album marks Mike "Mike D" Diamond, Adam "Ad Rock" Horovitz and Adam "MCA" Yauch's first full length effort since 2007's Grammy-winning all-instrumental The Mix-Up.

Fantastic Pulp Fiction Covers

"The term pulp fiction originally referred to "pulp" paper magazines of the late 19th century, such as Weird Tales and The Strand, which featured the work  of such prolific literary masters as H.G. Wells  (The Time Machine, The War of the Worlds), Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, (The Lost World, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes) J.R.R. Tolkien (Lord of the Rings) and Edgar Rice Burroughs (Tarzan of the Apes). Generally, pulp fiction stories focused on man struggling with dark, powerful and often, evil forces -- both internal and external -- beyond his control. By the early and mid-20th century, pulp fiction, with its mix of science fact and speculative fiction, launched a new era and genre of fantasy stories with compelling alternative or parallel realities." Erik Nitsche's Modernist Decca Album Covers

"Nitsche moved back to Geneva in 1960 where he founded ENI (Erik Nitsche international). He produced pictoral history books; ambitious volumes such as the histories of transportation, aviation, photography, astronomy and chemistry. His largest project was a twenty volume set visualizing the history of music, from classical to jazz, composition to instrumentation. He managed to select and organize great masses of material." http://www.iconofgraphics.com/Erik-Nitsche/

The Illustration & Art Direction of Mary Blair

Blown away by the body of work of Mary Blair - she was responsible for the Art Direction of numerous classic Disney films such as Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan as well as producing fantastic illustrations for many children's books of yesteryear.

Animation & Imagineering @ Disney - Cinderella & Alice in Wonderland
"An imaginative color stylist and designer, Mary Blair helped introduce modern art to Walt Disney and his Studio, and for nearly 30 years, he touted her inspirational work for his films and theme parks alike. Animator Marc Davis, who put Mary's exciting use of color on a par with Matisse, recalled, "She brought modern art to Walt in a way that no one else did. He was so excited about her work." Ai Weiwei: Sunflower seeds
Here's the video which is being shown at the Tate Modern to accompany the sunflower seeds exhibit in the Turbine Hall - is well worth watching it all, the story of how the seeds were made is epic, with each seed being hand-fired and hand-painted by the inhabitants of Jingdezhen, the 'porcelain capital' of Ai weiwei's native China."1600 people and more were involved in the project in the town...that means almost everybody knows someone who is making Sunflower seeds."
